We are getting so exited for Texarkana EggFest 2017! Big Green Egg aficionados from all over the region are signing up to cook on March 25. Ticketholders will get to taste foods, ask questions, and swap stories & recipes from 9am until 4pm.
Today we are happy to introduce one of the teams that will be cooking on the 25th, Team Chickens. From Spring, Texas, Team Chickens is made up of husband and wife duo Leroy and Judy McMillin, who go by the nicknames Spring Chicken and Spring Hen. The McMillins will be cooking up something special that they call “Magnum Loads.” At home, Team Chickens has an amazing outdoor kitchen they call The Coop, which boasts several Big Green Eggs.
“There are some mighty fine Cooks coming. I’m sure by the time the Cooks get through serving, we will have convinced a lot of people to add a Big Green Egg to their ‘Wish List’ ,” said Spring Chicken (Leroy).
